Colombian-American performer, Brianna Carolina Frehner, has been an active singer and actor since the age of 3. She’s since taken on major roles on stage such as Little Inez in Hairspray, Matilda in Matilda, Alice Murphy in Bright Star, Viola in Shaina Taub’s musical adaptation of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night, and Ti Moune in Once on this Island. She has been featured in collaborations with Infigo Films and Working with Lemons in Utah including advertisements for Brick Oven Pizza, Young Scholars Academy, and Brigham Young University.
Currently, Brianna is pursuing a degree in Vocal Performance at Brigham Young University–Hawaii. She is a featured soloist in the BYUH Salsa Orchestra, Studio Jazz Orchestra and a member of the Ho’olōkahi Chamber Choir. She recently competed at the regional auditions for the National Society of Arts and Letters (NSAL) in Honolulu, Hawai’i, where she placed first in musical theatre.
Brianna aspires a career in the creative industry. Although she is most experienced in musical theatre, she aims to surround herself in all aspects of the arts including film, visual arts, straight theatre, and fashion. She is also passionate for wildlife conservation, and plans to further her education in that field post graduation.
